Dumpster Pad Wash
Keep your property clean, odor-free, with Frazier Fresh’s dumpster Pad cleaning service
Service Description
1. Preparation & Safety Wear PPE: gloves, goggles, non-slip boots, and a respirator (for chemical fumes). Ensure the pad drains properly and doesn’t flow directly into storm drains (check local regulations; you may need to use containment or vacuum recovery). Remove trash/debris before applying chemicals. 2. Pre-Wet Surroundings Rinse down any nearby grass, walls, or curbs to protect from chemical splash. If you are close to landscaping, soak the plants with water first. 3. Mix Cleaning Solutions Dumpster pads usually need a two-step approach: Degreaser Mix (for oils & fats): Commercial degreaser OR sodium hydroxide-based cleaner. Dilute per manufacturer’s instructions (commonly 4–8 oz per gallon of water). Sanitizing Mix (for mildew, organics, odors): Sodium hypochlorite (SH) + water + surfactant. Use around 3–4% SH on the surface. Example: 1 part 12.5% SH to 2–3 parts water + surfactant. 4. Apply Degreaser First Spray the degreaser mix evenly across the dumpster pad. Focus on heavy oil spots, dumpster wheel tracks, and corners. Let it dwell for 10–15 minutes (don’t let it dry). Agitate stubborn grease with a stiff brush if needed. 5. Rinse Degreaser Rinse thoroughly with low–medium pressure (surface cleaner or fan tip). Goal: remove loosened grease and fats. 6. Apply Sanitizing Mix Apply your SH + surfactant mix across the entire pad. Let it dwell for 10–15 minutes (reapply if drying too fast). This kills mildew, bacteria, and removes organic stains/odors. 7. Final Rinse Rinse the pad thoroughly, starting at the high point and moving down. Make sure all chemicals are flushed away (especially from corners where grease collects). 8. Finishing Touch Rinse dumpster wheels, surrounding curbs, and the loading dock area if affected. Optional: apply a deodorizer or enzymatic cleaner for long-term odor control.
